Will's Weather | Forecast Breakdown May 6, 2025
South Carolina (Will's Weather) - If you're heading out this afternoon, conditions look great! Skies will remain mostly clear across the region. Expect temperatures to reach the upper 70s in the Upstate and along the beaches, while the Midlands and inland coastal areas will warm into the low to mid-80s.

By Wednesday, we shift into a more unsettled weather pattern, bringing some temperature swings. Expect a brief cool-down midweek, with highs dipping on Wednesday. A warm front moves in Thursday, pushing temperatures back into the mid-80s. But don’t get too comfortable—a cold front arrives Friday, dropping highs back into the 70s through early next week.

In addition to the fluctuating temperatures, several rounds of hit-or-miss showers will begin developing Wednesday afternoon as our next weather system pushes eastward. A warm front associated with this system lifts through the area Thursday afternoon, not only boosting temperatures but also increasing the chance for scattered storms. The main system arrives on Friday, bringing the highest rain chances of the week. A cold front trailing the system will move through late Friday, introducing some uncertainty in the weekend forecast.

Some models keep the weekend mostly dry, while others suggest scattered showers. With that in mind, I’ve included a chance of rain in the forecast for both Saturday and Sunday. However, there will still be plenty of dry time, so don’t cancel any plans—just keep an umbrella handy, just in case.
Here is what to expect over the next 10 days by region. Overall, not bad, but it would be a good idea to keep the rain gear handy!
